Thoughts on The Biggest Loser Asia

How amazing I managed to watch the whole first season, waiting for each episode until the Finale last Tuesday. And how amazing people can lose weight so much they are no better than a drug addict.

For me it's quite fun to watch the show. It's not like the Apprentice like everyone was busy with their work. In this show, misplaced elbow, sprained ankle, admitted to the hospital for kidney stone and became very weak for not eating were some of the problems the contestants had. It's a show where 15 overweight people and one superoverweight people transformed themselves to be a more healthy person and thus promoting the fitness center which sponsored the show. And oh, one person transformed to be not a healthy person.

Here's my little thoughts after watching the Finale.

The Final Four Finalist.
OMGSUPERSCARYANOREXICANDSKELETONLOOKINGPERSONKOWAIIYO!!!

David; the winner of first season from Indonesia. Entered the show with 157kg won the show with 74kg (-83kg). This is so disgusting. He's more like the drug addict I've seen. He's the clone of Skeletor. Received more hate in any TBLA forums and facebook for looking anorexic. Sick! He's only 25 but looks like 65.

Carlo; the first runner-up from The Philippines. Entered the show with 136kg and the final weight is 83kg (-49kg). He is what I think the ideal winner should be. With a healthy normal body. Not only he lost his weight but he also transformed to be a younger person.

Aaron; the second runner-up from Malaysia. Entered the show with 159kg and lost 60kg to be 99kg. He is one of my favorite for not only being a Malaysia, but for keeping himself low-profile, avoiding conflict and drama throughout the show. Compared to other contestant especially Martha, I don't think I heard he said any F-word in the show. A mix of Malay and Irish blood, he has two super cute daughters and going down the slide, with his daughter, wearing a SARONG, was an epic moment!

Martha ; not worth to be mentioned here.

Other contestants who amazed me are;

Hafiz from Singapore. A very humble person, a bit shy, always smiling. Said to lose 60-70kg now. Tony from Thailand. A funny person with a lot of smiles. Now looks like a normal person. Kevin from The Philippines. The super heavyweight and shy contestant with starting weight of 215kg now lost more than 70kg. A fan favorite. Ever heard of Lempeng? He's having those all over his body now. In the form of his skin.

Hafiz, Aaron, Marilyn and David during their early days in the show.

Hafiz, Gary, Martha, Carlo and Christine.

Kevin

More pictures can be found in Facebook. Just search for "Biggest Loser Asia".

Here's something more amazing. By only watching this show, I lost 5kg. If I repeat all over from episode 1 until the finale once again, I'll prolly lost another 5.

P/s: Missed the show? If you google good enough you can watch it. I don't have Astro. But I have the dish. Since I got the internetz 5 years ago I never touched a TV. Sorry little people.

Job Interviews Are Actually Fun!

I went to a job interview at a large American factory this morning. It was a walk-in interview from 9am until 4pm today. The last interview I went was about 2 weeks ago at a Siamese factory. So at 9.00am sharp, I already standing at the security guard's booth waiting to be escorted to the waiting room. Did you read that? "Escorted". By two security guards. I am so dangerous.

Arriving at the earliest time does not mean I'm the first person. I'm the fourth person on the list. One of the thing that I should improve next time is always be the number one in everything. I remembered during primary school after lunch break everyone was running from the canteen to the class to be the first person to sit down at the table and say "FIRST!!!" as loud and proudly as you can. But I always be the number one person, because I didn't go to the canteen, my XXXXXX-girlfriend packed me a lovely and cute 'bento' for me. That was when I was in standard one.

So back to this morning interview, after filling the forms and waited for awhile, I was called into the interview room. A girl and a few boys who came earlier than me were already in the room. There are four interview sessions at the same time at the room at separated tables. It room sounds like a pasar malam.

The girl was already "bersilat" trying her best to express her emotion while answering the question.

"MAIII NEMMM EISSS ABU. AI EMMM TUWENTIII YASSS OL" can be heard. Not to make fun of him. But probably he had 4.99 of CGPA at his certificate. You are actually fighting in your own battlefield. You don't have to speak in complicated Shakespearean English though. What you have learned in technical communication subject will suffice.

I just remained calm throughout the interview and tried my best to give the longest answer as I can. In English. Quite hard as I only speak Mongolian at home, and Elvish with my current girlfriend. She's an elf. She likes archery very much.

Nyan NYAN!

For me, large international companies gives more formal interview compared to small companies.

Large company: "Welcome sir, you're here for xxx position, you're going to do this, that, managing this, managing that, will give you training, this and that, work 12 hours a day, no OT, and we'll pay you one-eight".

Small company: "Keleja apa mau? injinia? Esok lu datang. Pakai baju buruk saja nanti kotor. Ni gaji lu mau ka?".

As a comparison.

So after a few interviews. I'm still unemployed. They probably won't hire a supermutant, a superhero or a cyborg. Being a half supermutant and cyborg myself with a superpower abilities definitely scared them.

I never misused my superpower abilities. I never caused problems in schools or university. I don't use my powers in public. I used them privately, such as writing this entry, I use my psychic power to type the letters.

Now give me a large-sized, bolded, black "T" for Biskut!

T T T T T T T T T T T T T T T T T T T T T T T T T T T T

Recommended Mowees

The Blind Side - Recommended!

Last week I found myself in a difficult situation where I don't know what movie should I watch. There are a lot of movies but most of them were never heard before, or not screened in the country. So today, a few hours after the 82nd Academy Awards, I give you the winners. And I'm definitely going to watch the ones that I've missed over these few days.

Last night I just watched "The Blind Side" after reading predictions on Sandra Bullocks and she'd won the best actress for the movie. It's not the kind of movie with eye popping CGIs, robots fighting and sexayy blue aliens jumping everywhere. It's a real-life story that can move anyone who watched it. By the way, the nose-kissing scene looks tasty! AND Phil Collin's daughter is PRETTY!!!

All right, I'm sure enough of this. There a few out there that have really good taste on movies and millions out there who thinks that they have the best opinions on movies. FUCK YOU! Adnan Sempit is not funny, and Valentine's Day are for couples to main geli-geli dalam wayang.

Hit the jump for the list of nominees and winners of the 2010 Academy Awards. I help you watch movies, no?

p/s: "The Cove" is really sickening. Run dolphins...RUN!!!

I'll Never Be Late Again For...

I'll never be late again for dating! Woohooo! Optimus Prime is going to be jealous!

I'm saving money for the jetpack. The price is around RM250,000 which after a series of complicated mathematical calculations, it is proven accurately that I will able to buy one after 250,000 days if I save RM 1 per day.

The New Zealand's Martin Aircraft Company is going to sell these jetpacks commercially. The dual propeller will churn out 200 Horsepowers, can go up 1.5 miles in the air and with the speed of 60 MPH.

200 horses!?? that's ten times the amount of horses I have in my Farmville. Send me horses please...

The Old Cartoons

Sang Kancil, Sang Buaya & Lembu.
Couldn't find the full video so no Buaya dialogues.

If you never seen this video before, you were not born before the 90s. Because the Sang Kancil series were frequently shown on RTM in late 80s and early 90s, where Astro or even Mega TV were not even exist. It was usually shown before the TV starts to officially broadcasted for the day and during the TV Pendidikan slot.

The quality was far away better than the newer Usop Sontorian. Usop Sontorian used MS Paint for the cartoon and the framerate was bad. Everything was bad for Usop Sontorian what the hell were you people watching? Lucky Upin and Ipin saves the local animation industry.

For the Buaya in the Sang Kancil, Sang Buaya & Lembu, if not mistaken it was the voice of Mahmud June. Never heard of Mahmud June? You spoiled brat better live somewhere else. And POW! there goes my roundhouse kick, in-your-face for being ignorant and too much James Cameron's Avatar.

Hit the jump for The Sang Kancil full video series and, Mahmud June epic win dancing and reading "the history book for man".

Rubik's Cube is Probably Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything.

What is a Rubik's Cube? It is a square plastic, top-selling, prehistoric mechanical puzzle toy. It is so popular for being related to maths, IQs, stresses and a useful throwing weapon against dogs.

So last week my nephews and niece had a vacation after spending half a year of homesick in the middle-east. They brought with them a set of Rubik's Cube which I enjoyed playing with it.

I had one triangle-shaped one back in 1996. I came free in the A&W hamper I got for winning the 'Di Mana Joe Jambul' S1E10 tv show. Yeah I was so cool back then they decided to put me in TV show. But I was not interested with it.

Then last Sunday I bought an El Cheapo Rubik's Cube from the nearest Jusco and currently enjoying myself solving a single side. I like playing computer games with cheat. It reflects the real me of being invincible, have a lot of money, and can walk through walls. So I found this nice website;

It's a Rubik's cube solver. I just need to put in the initial color of every side and then let the sitesolve it. Then I'll just have to follow the instructions such as "forward clockwise, right-down, top-left, etc" to complete the cube.

Easy right? Let me finish this one;
Down, Down-Right, Right, Punch; SHORYUKEN!!!
Down, Down-Left, Left, Kick; HURRICANE KICK TATSUMAKI SENPUU-KYAKU!!!

Blergh that was nothing, I once opened a demon portal from the underworld by solving a Rubik's Cube.

Hit the jump for a super cool Rubik' Cube solver.

Arwen Evenstar is Alive and Kickin'!

Remember the scene from The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring where Arwen Evenstar@Undomiel Binti Elrond drowned the Ringwraiths at the river of Bruinen while trying to bring Frodo Baggins to Rivendell? The part where she spoke the Elvish spell of

"Nîn o Chithaeglir lasto beth daer; rimmo nín Bruinen dan in Ulaer".
(Waters of the Hithaeglir, hear the word of power, rush, waters of Bruinen, against the Ringwraiths)

Thousands of years after the War of the Ring, after her marriage with and the death of King Elessar, she still lives and currently work in Argentina as a train driver. She has been spotted using the spells to make way for her train.

Being a half-elf (and still deciding whether to find a human or elf girlfriend, thus deciding for the path of immortality or mortal) myself I usually use the spell after doing my businesses in the toilet. The word "in Ulaer" is replaced with "in Tahee" or "in Khencings" depending on the size of flood that I need.

Hit the jump for the video of Arwen Evenstar's train in action.
